Aaliyah Chavez, the #1 girls basketball prospect in the county, is set to announce her college destination on March 25th. Do the Sooners have a legitimate shot?
I'd read that she has a top 5 of Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and UCLA, but UCLA is unlikely and she never visited South Carolina. My gut says that the Double Eagle boys do the same thing they did with NiJaree Canady - pay an extraordinary amount and keep Chavez home.
Do we have any inside on our chances?
