At least it was tense for me.

My oldest daughter still relatively young for the last six months was having some physical symptoms and after medical tests including an ultra sound it was discovered she had some tumors on her uterous. It was determined that the tumors were fibroid tumors which usually are benign.
She has her own Gyn doctor and she got a second opinion from a Gyn MD at the OU medical center
as to what her alternatives were for the least evasive surgery.

Anyway this morning she had a hysterectomy to have her uterous and her cervix removed. Her GYN doctor used a laparoscope which made her surgery more non-evasive.

All appears to have gone well. The surgery took about two hours and it took her about 4 hours to wake up from the anesthesia

It was her first surgery ever and I was perhaps the most tense,

I have always personally avoided any potential surgeries for myself. The last I had was when I was 8 years old many years ago. I have always feared surgeries and the thought of being put to sleep.

Bull, best wishes to your daughter and all of your family. I cannot imagine having to endure that scenario.

The best thing that came out of this surgery was the things removed
were benign. Here's to your daughter's speedy recovery.

Thank you my old friend, Its always tense when your child is having major surgery,

Thanks again.

There is an old adage that I've repeated often, that the difference between major surgery and minor surgery, is that your surgery is major surgery and somebody else's in minor surgery. But I'm amending that to say that major surgery is your surgery, or the surgery of your kids or grandkids.

Hope your daughter is improving. Still praying.
