3 Sooners on All-American team

Yep, he's probably the only one that should be on the 1st team.
I think it's a little odd that Perine isn't on the list. Let's fault a guy for having to share the ball with the best freshman runningback in the nation.
Coupled with the fact that OUr 'New Offense' was not designed to maximize Samaje's CONSIDERABLE Skills...He's the one who took one for the Team...I'm not throwing rocks at Riley, by any means, but he was really slow out of the starting gate on utilizing the talent of his players. There were more than a few raised eyebrows about that hire, until he got the Big Picture...

BawlzDeep posted a really good article from SBNation that explained Perine's absence until after the Texas game and what Riley did to get him involved.

Baker is an awesome QB, but I really liked SBNation's analysis and think that it's this wrinkle that got Perine involved that has made us unstoppable..... sorry for the awkward sentence with a bunch of "that"s.

How does a slight notch above average Sanchez make second team All American? With all those times he couldn't tackle or got burnt? Must have been a bunch of very average or less defensive backs this year. The NFL is in trouble.
