This kid visited yesterday. I wasn’t very familiar with him, so I clicked on his profile. He plays maybe not THE best competition, but it is the highest division in Missouri (same as Cayden green). His Twitter gave the following metrics:
Bench: 405
Squat: 420
Clean: 285
IMO a 405 bench is very good for a HS football player. It is INSANE for a freshman who is 6’8’’ with long arms. A 420 squat is good for a HS football player. It is extremely good for a 6’8’’ freshman. And a 285 power clean is very good for a HS football player. It is INSANE for a 6’8’’ Freshman.
You’d think a 14/15 year old 6’8’’ freshman would still be uncoordinated. The kid is shockingly athletic for his size and age. He definitely has plenty to work on, but he’s got some insane tools and great tape thus far. Honestly this kid might be a 3* if he was a senior right now and this is a 2026 Freshman.
