Zeke Jones

was born Wednesday, the first child or former Sooner and present Steelers' quarterback Landry Jones and his wife, former Sooner basketball player Whitney Hand Jones. At the same time, the third child of Steelers' starter Ben Roethlisberger was born. Made for an interesting dynamic at Steeler OTA's.

Whitney is the head girls basketball coach at Seton-LaSalle High School. They won their conference with a 9-1 record. I wondered what she was doing. One of my favorite Sooner women's athletes ever.

My guess is that Zeke is short for Ezekiel, the OT prophet.
