The most recent comments from the SoonerSoftball twitter activity don't mention any problems with Shelby's injury. I don't know which would be worse, not having her bat or not having her steady glove at shortstop. Since they don't seem to be concerned, I suspect that she will at least be able to play.
The Georgia/Michigan game demonstrated how important it is to have good fielding on the infield. Georgia's four infield errors (should have been more) cost them five runs.
It's looking like this will come down to Florida, Michigan, Oregon, and the Alabama/Oklahoma winner. I don't think the others are much of a threat right now.
