If OU just kept what they have right now it would be a great class by any standard. But what would be the final touches to make this one of the best classes in Sooner history?
I'll mention a few obvious choices:
1) TE, WR, Malachi Coleman
OU's chances: If he doesn't stay home, perhaps pretty good?
2) SDE, David Hicks
OU's chances: One of the locks and obviously the strong leader?
3) S, Peyton Bowen
OU's chances: The ND commit is still open and he has OU QB commit and teammate Arnold in his ear. Very possible OU flip
4) CB, Ryan Yaites
OU's chances: Another Denton teammate of Bowen and Arnold who currently is an LSU commit. Getting all 3 to OU? Maybe
5) SDE, Jordan Renaud.
OU's chances: A dogfight between OU and Alabama that OU could actually win.
Is there anyone else? Maybe a DT?
Also, while we're all thrilled with getting defensive recruits we haven't seen around here in a very long time, the depth and balance on offense is remarkable. Very solid on the OL, two very good RBs, a 5 star QB, a wonderful trio of WRs that on paper compliment each other perfectly.
Please share anyone else I haven't mentioned that would complete this class and make it a top 3 class in the country.
