It took me a minute to get this posted but here's the walk-on breakdown I promised. Tried to write a caption for guys that should actually see the field at some point.

I took all the names that are listed in the OU Media Guide as 'walk-ons'.

Seniors

Eric Delay - 6-2, 211 - Wide Receiver
*Graduate of Cleveland High School.
* Started college career at Oklahoma Baptist before transferring to OU.
* Redshirt senior

Dylan Hartsook - 6-6, 300 - Offenisve Lineman
* Graduate of Choctaw High School
* Interior offensive line that likely won't see a ton of action unless there are injuries up front. Could slide in at guard if needed.
* Redshirt senior

Riley Nolan - 6-0, 289 - Offensive Lineman
* Graduate of Norman North High School
* Signed with Missouri Southern State out of high school
* Transfered to Oklahoma in 2013.
* Did not appear in a game last season but was named 2015 Scout Team Player of the Year.
* Interior offensive lineman that likely won't see snaps unless there are injuries.
* Redshirt senior

Darius Owens - 5-10, 195 - Cornerback
* Graduate of Yukon High School
* Started college career at Henderson State

Erik Wren - 6-2, 308 - Center
* graduate of Mesuite North ... same high school as 2017 QB commit Chris Robison
* Arizona Western CC before heading to Norman
* Played in three games last season ... Iowa State, Kansas & Akron
* If you're looking for a wildcard Erik Wren is certainly the pick. Perhaps no other player on the Sooners roster has made bigger moves throughout the preseaon. He's in the middle of a competition for the Sooners starting center position. That's trill.

Juniors

Najee Bissoon - Running Back (Redshirt Junior)
* moved to running back during the spring to add depth with Samaje Perine sidelined.
* possibly a fourth quarter, up by 5 touchdowns get some carries kinda guy.

Ruben Hunter - Linebacker (Redshirt Junior) ADDED
* Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City
* played in all 13 games last season, primarily on special teams. Named the recipient of OU’s Derrick Shepard Most Inspirational Walk-On Award at season's end.
* Back-up middle linebacker that'll add depth but not someone I would necessarily has a real shot at being in the actual game rotation.

Totaled 8 tackles last season. And an extremely great kid.

Dalton Rodriguez - Linebacker (Redshirt Junior)
* transfered in from Tulsa ... the Union grad is the same guy that was committed to Oklahoma then flipped to Tulsa.
* three tackles, 2.5 sacks in the spring game.
* 6'6", 255 makes automatically makes him 'someone to keep an eye'.

Kane Snowden - Defensive Tackle (Redshirt Junior)
* Westmoore High School
* Back-up defensive tackle

Jesse Walker - Safety (Redshirt Junior)
* Westmoore High School
* Back up defensive back

Sophomores

Nick Basquine - Wide Receiver (Redshirt Sophomore)
* Norman North High School
* If Erick Wren is 1A, Basquine is 1B when it comes to walk-ons that will see the field. Basquine is in the wide receiver rotation and will be a guy that can contribute. Know the name and don't be surprised when he makes his first grab.

Anuar Hage - Defensive Back (Redshirt Sophomore)
* Highland Park (Dallas) graduate

Ronnie Larue - Defensive Back
* Bishop Dunne (Dallas)
* Pretty fun follow on Twitter

Ezel McIntee - Running Back (Redshirt sophomore)
* Graduate of Edmond North High School
* Was a helluva running back at Edmond North, but likely just a practice player while in Norman.

Cade Newhouse-Parker - 6-0, 218 - Linebacker
* Redshirted in 2014 ... graduate of Norman High School

Kyle Pfau - Kicker (transfer from LSU)

Anthony Sheppard - 5-11, 210 - Anchorage (Alaska)

Freshman

Reece Clark - Quarterback
* Redshirted in 2015

Parker Fentriss - Wide Receiver
* Redshirted in 2015

Ignacio 'Nacho' Gallegos - Linebacker
* Anadarko HS
* 100% the best name on the team, maybe even the best name in the conference.

Sam Iheke - Wide Receiver
* Redshirted in 2015

Matthew Leckrone - Long Snapper
* Redshirt Freshman from Mustang (Okla.)

Connor McGinnis - Quarterback
* Redshirted in 2015
* From Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City
* Could get some time on the field as a holder. Atleast that's what he's been pictured in camp photos. If he unseated Grant Bothun - winner of the 2015 Eddie Radosevich Holder of the Year Award- I'd say he's a big time holder.

Bryan Mead - Linebacker
* Rejoice Christian High School

Devin Montgomery - 5-9, 213 - Running Back
* St. Mary's Ryken High School

Lee Morris - 6-2,210 - Wide Reciever
* Allen High School

Reece Morrison - Kicker
* Lake Highlands High School (Dallas)

Braxton Pickard - Kicker
* Edmond Memorial

Tanner Schafer - 6-3, 205 - Quarterback
* Canadian (Texas)
* Lincoln Riley told reporters Schafer is currently running third team quarterback. Here's a does of reality ... he's two plays away from playing quarterback.
* Schafer threw for 4,053 yards and 49 touchdowns with just two interceptions this season, earning Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 2A All-State honors. He was 31-0 as a starter, leading Canadian to back-to-back state titles.
