I know OU wanted him to spin down and play that safety/LB role, and he wanted to play safety. Why did OU just not take him as a safety? The Juco kid they just signed was bigger that Daniels. Was it speed? That is they only thing that makes since is that he was too slow to play safety in the Speed D. But looking at OUs current safetys as far as speed goes was that issue?
