We don’t play complimentary football. Saturday’s game was reminiscent of when we played against Army.
O-Line is awful. Everyone has the GT counter figured out and we don’t have the guys athletic enough to overcome that.
We don’t put our guys with god-given talent to make plays in space/open-field situations ie Gray, M. Williams.
Do we have sure-handed TE’s? A position that used to be so much fun to watch is now non-existent in this offense.
Marcus Major not seeing the field is unbelievable. It’s clear that Brooks doesn’t have the juice like he did earlier in the season and won’t give the guy with fresh legs a chance is ridiculous. Not to mention, our genius play caller of a head coach refuses to establish the run even when our RB’s are actually making plays.
Grinch’s system in its third year is obviously flawed and he puts too much weight into the heart of the player being the d factor of them seeing the field rather than the player actually being better than the rest ie Eaton, McCutchin, Washington, Smith, Stutsman, etc.
Speed D doesn’t with the 11 they put on the field.
Having 22 man roster on D is bullshit when the other 11 are clearly better than the starters. Plus, no one is doing this at any level of football. It’s not working for us in the third year of trying and it’s not ever going to. Just stop it. When a guy is gassed give him a breather via back-up and then get his ass back out there. I don’t care what the data analysis says.
We should’ve lost a long time ago and anyone who is surprised that we lost is delusional. We’ve played like hammered dog shit all year. Big deal, we were 9-0 in the BIG12….literally one of worst conferences in the P5. There’s a reason we’re jumping ship to the SEC and not the other way around. Don’t think for a second that the BIG12 wouldn’t take any team from the SEC if given the opportunity.
