With 2 AA OU students, one is the president of the black student association on campus as guests. Dr. Phil asked him if there was racial tension at OU, to which he replied, "No, I have never really felt it." If OU is as bad as some say it is, wouldn't he of all people be privy to it? Dr. Phil then stated, although he is not black, having been to the campus many many times and having many friends there, that to say the school and even the state is racist is ABSOLUTELY NOT true. He knows so many people who work hard to create diversity and continue to do so and that if anyone can do it it's Boren. Then he comended Boren for how he took care of it. I realize Dr. Phil isn't the end all be all of the world, I just find the two extremes in views to be very perplexing.
