This morning around 1:30 I ventured out onto the west porch to survey the deluge of rain we were getting.
I suddenly stopped when I spotted a momma racoon with three babies in tow there on the porch about 6 feet away.
Now, this evil momma went all attack mode.
She stood up and dared me to make a move, all the while making this scary hissing noise.
I backed off, and when she was satisfied I wasn't a threat she moved along with the kids.
A little intimidating I'll admit.
