Brandon and I have repeatedly mentioned that OU is looking for a transfer running back that would fall into the category of “game-breaking,” an adjective that’s been used by numerous Switzer Center sources.
Arkansas RB Raheim Sanders certainly qualifies, and Oklahoma was a finalist for his commitment out of high school. However, Lincoln Riley and the old staff wanted him to play defense rather than offense. He was very high on OU as a school, though, and I can confirm this is a portal entry that has piqued the interest of folks within the OU program. It ought to be one to watch, assuming there hasn’t already been a back-channel deal struck elsewhere for Sanders’ services.
