It's always nice to see fresh talent arrive. This year OU will have a new identity on offense along with fresh faces on defense in Coaching and players too. A lot of questions are to answered about what will happen for everyone going forward but there is no doubt that there is a renewed excitement within the football program. Some tough decisions were made by those who selected & committed to OU and those who chose to play ball elsewhere. Much like the selections of the new OU Coaches, these decisions are in the rearview mirror at this point and I wish all of them the very best. As a Sooner fan, I'm excited about the changes and look forward to a more successful season(s) in the future and hope the selections will be fruitful for the Sooner nation.

Hear hear Nota!

In a world of negative nabobism, it's refreshing to hear such a positive take on the pertinent issues that are of our mutual interest.

Thanks, and again, onward and upward with the Sooner program bitches!

Forgive my missionary zeal on this issue.

I've had about 64 years of practice that's damn hard to break...

Well to be honest I've been waiting for this for awhile. A fresh start is always good for my fandom as with most others! So while I appreciate the kind words, they're not needed.

Now on the biz front, I'll take it. A good supportive woman & hard work are paying a few dividends.

Me too. Are the jmisano polls correct in that signing starts today, 2/5 as in all day today only or today & beyond? Better call Saul ! I hope all the new hires and incoming class takes care of business in 2015 and in the near future. (Or am I totally clueless and signing day was today and I just soiled my new pastel Hanes hiney holders? (Got it clueless!)

Attaboys WNnaS... If Mamas are happy life can be better for everybody.

Can't complain, all things considered, with this 2015 class.
3 corner backs.
3 safeties.
5 OL
4 DL
1 top notch kicking specialist.
1 top notch running back.
2 top notch linebackers.
1 highly rated JUCO receiver.
2 very good high school receivers.
1 athlete who may wind up at FB or TE.

Even with two instate offensive linemen going elsewhere (Wariboko and Barnett) and losing out on three linebackers (Wheeler, Houston and Jefferson) this was a very good haul and really addressed some glaring needs.

Hard to believe that this is not our motto every year.
Well to be fair, each year in of itself will create glaring holes with the attrition rate of graduation and coaching changes. Even if one was to win the Natty, glaring needs would surface. But I'm hopeful that we will see a better cocahed team with better game plans and better players executing the game plans.
