On WWLS Sports Animal. He was at the practice/scrimmage on Saturday.
Dusty: "Good, young promising players on the horizon for this Oklahoma defense..."
- More effort, more energy, tackling, PHYSICAL
- Young players, Defense and Mike - there is a emphasis on EFFORT
- New drills at practice
- Players: one kid that really turned his head: Kenneth Murray LB out of Missouri City, TX
- "Has the goods", Kid is the real deal can play inside and outside
- Unbelievable explosion out of his hips, very NATURAL
- Looks different than the LBs that OU has been getting lately
- Plug him and Play him right now
- Need to put him and Caleb Kelly on the field at the same time
- Addison Gumbs moved around well
- LB position: more athletic
- JMT looked really athletic at ILB, 245 6' 3" very PHYSICAL
- Jordan Parker has put on some very good size after the 2 heart surgeries
- D-Line has to come on, # of players there
- Amani Bledsoe looked very good at the 3-technique, Mark didn't know he failed a drug test lol
- Athleticism and Demeanor stood out the most
- O-Line is very solid
- Abdul Adams nice speed, vision, cuts
- Anderson didn't do much
- Sutton caught the ball very well, explosive, not great size
- Sermon looks great physically but didn't see much on the field from him
- Marquise Brown not super small, good speed
- Backup QB Kendall threw it well
- More impressed with the defensive side more than anything
- Nick Basquine is a guy that continue to make big plays, great hands
- Mead and Miller look good, but need to continue to grow
- Thinks they'll be fine at WR
- Attitude and pads popping for the defense (!!!!)
