First, we couldn’t get it 100% confirmed but I have been working on this for a while once a few sources started saying there was buzz on it all.
What I can say from talking to those closest to him is that they are not thrilled with this decision, but what it came down to was LeBlanc himself making the decision despite what family members wanted.
Also, LeBlanc has a lot sway from friends at a few Florida-centric schools and back in May there was a some push while at home in May and from that point on things started to turn a bit south, I’m told.
I am working on more here, but I will add that another source talked about how crazy the transfers were and that them, along with OU potential 2024 class, could have had something to do with it. In the end, it sounds like friends and homesickness had a big part, though.
