SMU. That’s the buzz right now with transfer OL Nate Anderson and Savion Byrd.
With Byrd, that makes a ton of sense with the Mustangs being his second choice out of high school and them now headed into a P5 conference for the 2024 season and beyond.
With Anderson, it makes sense from the P5 perspective and the fact SMU head coach Rhett Lashlee was the one that started recruiting him during his first stint at SMU as an OC.
It’s also not too far from where Anderson’s family resides in Frisco (TX), so lots of early buzz there with SMU for not transfer OL.
If we hear more on them and other schools becoming viable landing spots, we will update you all. Just wanted to pass that along.
