I have heard some information from someone very connected that seems to explain why the news has been slow recently. It seems that Joe found his guy but there has been considerable pushback from the BMDs which is holding things up. There was originally supposed to be an announcement Wednesday until things hit a snag. However, my source expects Joe to get his way in the end and the deal to get done soon and the BMDs are coming around. Why would there be pushback? Well my source couldn’t give me a name but mentioned that the coach is a former player who knocked his interview out of the park and would have been a slam dunk a year or two ago but isn’t as shiny of a name right now. I pressed and couldn’t get an answer but my only guesses would be Justin Fuente or Seth Littrell. I wish I was able to confirm the name but either way - expect to hear an announcement by Sunday assuming Joe C can get across the finish line.
