A young man who works for me got ill last week and had a telemedicine appointment with a doctor yesterday who told him his symptoms are consistent with and he likely has Covid19. He asked...what about my wife should we distance? Answer, nah she probably has it by now. Well, should we get tested to make sure? Answer, Nah, we don’t want to overwhelm the healthcare system. His wife, is a food service worker serving dozens of people every day. This is in Broken Arrow....not NYC. My question is how many people is his wife giving Covid19 to without even knowing. Should we count on her staying home with no income on the chance she might be contagious? To me it is absolutely criminal that the healthcare worker didn’t say...hell yes get tested...especially your wife. Here’s exactly where you go and exactly what you need to do. That’s not what happened. But everyone who wants a test can have one right? Calling BS on that.
