Curious for input from anyone studying athletic performance, trainers, serious lifters, etc. If an athlete looks older is that a sign they will reach a peak strength age earlier?
I know it seems crazy, but was watching all the OU post practice videos/interviews. Anyone else notice how old some of these players look compared to past years?
I remember watching an interviews w Justin Blackmon OSU and was struck by how he looked like he was 30 years old!
Wondered at the time if it was an athletic indicator and if anyone considered it when evaluating players. Never thought the SEC was that much faster, but did think that most of their players looked the same.
This year's OU class has a lot of that look. Granted, several are transfers in their 2nd/3rd years, but they do not look like "young men" they look like "Dudes".
For those in the know, does it matter?
