1. In a pre-season interview, I think maybe it was with RJ Young, Ethan Downs said he, "doesn't even watch college football". That really struck me, bc although I'm sure these guys don't watch all the games since they play Saturdays, but to not watch it period makes me question the commitment to learning, technique etc.
2. During an interview after Neb/week of Kstate , BV made the comment, that some of the things they don't have to coach anymore bc players started taking charge on their own and saying 'don't worry, we got this coach'
Neither of those comments felt right to me at the time, and now we're seeing perhaps some of the results.
