This has been the weirdest week I can remember as far as confirming visitors. I know there are more names than I've put together but almost everyone I've spoken to has either given me a flat no or 'I'm coming for TCU (that seems to be a good weekend)'.
I almost hate to put this list out because there just isn't much meat on the bone but have a look.
Luther Burden - 2022 - WR - St. Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter - OU OFFER
Ethan Downs – 2021 - DE - Weatherford, Okla. - OU COMMIT
Cody Jackson – 2021 - WR - Richmond (Texas) Foster - RIVALS250 - OU COMMIT
Chris McClellan – 2022 - DE - Tulsa Edison
Brynden Walker - 2020 - LB - Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness - OU COMMIT
Gentry Williams - 2022 - ATH - Tulsa Booker T. Washington - OU OFFER
Actually something has changed (below)...

I left my computer open and just wanted to include my near- two year-old's work here for you all to enjoy.

Don't fear, after a week of wondering if anything was going to come about, I'm told that Oklahoma will be hosting an official visitor from Florida this week.
Everyone will guess at the familiar names but I'll ruin the suspense and offer you the name of current South Carolina commitment Dominick Hill.
Many of you will wonder how long Oklahoma has been in touch with the Orlando Jones product and while I don't think it truly goes back this far he was offered in mid-July.
Although I'm not entirely clear on what the plan is for him it's clear he'll be a focus on the defensive backfield with wide receiver having different answers at the moment.
So, right now I don't know a ton more than he is expected to visit and is seen as a defensive back but I'll keep working on more.

I've spoken with a few people this week on Bastrop (Texas) Cedar Creek four-star defensive lineman Alfred Collins. I get the impression that Oklahoma feels like they've done all they can here and now it's just a matter of 'does he take the opening, or not'.
Texas is a real contender and has to be thought of as the favorite but the more they start to tailspin, the more I get the feeling Oklahoma might just shock the world.
The thing I will say is that talking to some folks around Cedar Creek, they were impressed (and so was Collins) that Lincoln Riley and Calvin Thibodeaux were there through the first half and that the Sooners have 'NFL hopes' for Collins.
"They think he is a no doubt-NFL guy," one source said.
