Oklahoma's first weekend of March looks like a set of solid visitors from both the 2024 and 2025 classes. I'm expecting some bigger weekends and I'm also expecting some other names to be added but I'm still working to confirm some of those.

One visitor that was expected in Norman this weekend was Irvington, N.J. three-star safety Vaboue Toure. Speaking to Toure there had to be a late change of plan for the Sooners visit due to the coach he was traveling with having to attend a wedding.
He's a name to keep an eye on as the Sooners have, somewhat quietly, kept an eye on the New Jersey area the last two years after pursuing Jayden Bonsu and Moussa Kane in 2023.

We'll have a lot more on this weekend's visit list over the next 48 hours as more and more guys confirm their travel plans but one of the most interesting notes is speaking to one prospect who had been planning to come 'I am not coming in, I was told this is an offer weekend'.
Obviously two in-state players above, Utley and Fields, are expected in Norman and aren't currently holding Oklahoma offers. I've been betting on Utley to end up changing that at some point but Fields would be quite a surprise but then again...so was Taylor Heim.
We'll keep an eye on this as we expect the Sooners to make this weekend and March 25 with some stragglers and spring breakers in between.
