I like the shorter window. More like a regular season prep time. Florida TE opting out for the draft. He is ranked the #1 TE in the country.

The short prep time is much better than having 3 to 4 weeks to prepare. It is also better for the players and the team as a whole because it's like preparing for next weeks games. I think it helps players stay better focused but that is probably just me.

Gator HC sent the team home for Christmas. He isn’t playing for a Natty so is he giving up? Rumor has it that their QB & WR are opting out. We’ll see.

I think it's the tight end. There are rumors that Trask might sit it out.

Maybe if CFB could get the Heisman voters to wait until the season it totally over, including the playoffs, we might have fewer post season opt outs. I'm guessing that Trask might find a way to play.
