Which should have been fully expected by everyone, it was good to see RB's Gray and Major having solid production vs Oregon. It was Gray's best performance as a Sooner (8 carries for 82 yards) and Major, who mysteriously saw only 5 carries this season, carried 10 times for 54 yards.
With Gray and Major returning and Gavin Sawchuk coming in....and possibly Javante Barnes (from Nevada), OU's depth should be very good.
With Jeremiah Hall also off to the NFL, it will be interesting to see who fills the HB position. My bet is that Brayden Willis will get the most time there and the coaches liked sophomore Jackson Sumlin who had 4 catches for 25 yards.
The two freshmen TE's should get lots of playing time. Both are great blockers along with being good receivers.
With more transfers into the program and with the February signing day ahead, there certainly will be more to discuss about the 2022 team.
Caleb Williams is the biggest concern. My bet is he stays at OU.....if not, Venables finds an adequate replacement, if he doesn't already have him on the team.
