We’ve got to give the “why isn’t Lebby playing Sawchuck” thing a rest. Kid is talented but we saw a single game from him last season and keep using that game to believe he is our top or second best back. Our OL controlled that game against FSU - hence the TWO backs over 100. Sawchuck is fast and I’d love that sore out there but let the coaches coach my goodness. The guys that get snaps have been healthy and would’ve got snaps over him in the FSU game if they were healthy then. hes good, he’s young, and he will play when his # is called. He is a redshirt freshman yall. His time will come.
He and Barnes both battled injuries. They are both good and young and may benefit from taking a back seat early on in the season. At the very least it’ll help with longevity, especially while the OL figures things out.
If they decide to bail before that time comes then so be it. Next man up. Until then, let the coaches coach and play the guys they see practice everyday.
