Ok, so I am on record as having said I think we lose to Baylor again, as much as I hate the idea, and end the regular season 11-1, but if the offense is productive we have a good shot against them as well. I know many of you think we'll lose 5 games and Mike Stoops sucks and our D sucks, yadda yadda, but I'm choosing to be positive and hopeful until proven otherwise. So here is why the voodoo numbers say we win it this year.
In 2000 it had been 15 years since our last NC, no one expected OU to win it, we opened the season ranked #19 after a 5 loss season, we had a 1st year OC implementing a new spread offense and we had lots of unproven talent.
In 2015 it has been 15 years since our last NC, no one expects OU to win it, we open the season ranked #19 after a 5 loss season, we have a 1st year OC implementing a new spread offense and we have lots of unproven talent.
Definitive no, but I'm liking the odds for Sooner magic to show up and turn it around this year.
