- Buddy Heild is arguably the best player in the country. The last 3 games alone he has gone for 30, 25 and 27 points. Coming back for his senior year was a great decision for himself and a gift to Sooner fans. He is no longer a jump shooter but now a complete player.
- Kruger's switch of Cousins to the point guard and Woodard to the two guard was masterful and it has benefited both players as individuals and greatly improved the offensive flow.
- The Sooners have the nations best starting 5 with Heild, Cousins, Woodard, Spangler and Latin. The bench players are as talented as we've had in all the years I can remember and get better every game.
- The experience of Heild, Woodard, Cousins and Spangler playing together is a huge part of their success. They know exactly what the others are going to do and where they're going to be, and it makes for some really entertaining ball.
