Just look at the current Nebraska football roster and the current Oklahoma football roster.
Nebraska - 6 Texas players (one is a long snapper) and way too many players from Nebraska!
Oklahoma - 40+ Texas players (I quit counting at 40)
Texas kids can play in front of their families at OU due to all the Texas schools in the Big XII, not so much at teams like Nebraska who really killed themselves with the move to the BIG 10.
So sprinkle in a few quality players from around the country and recruit Texas hard while playing in the Big XII and you have a winning formula.
