I am not sure that any team has tried that tactic against KU this year. Great coaching move by Lon!

My guess is that from this point forward, Azubuike will see a lot more bench in those situations.

He was a one man wrecking crew to get Kansas in the lead after halftime. You have to show confidence in your players. Luckily, it worked out for us.

Bingo. Self knows he doesn't have an elite team yet and is trying to play his way in, just like Lon. Maybe we get to the EE & hopefully farther, it's possible. I know Purdue is tough but haven't paid much attention to anyone yet.

The entire Jayhawk fan base is asking the sane question. The loss is all on Self seems to be the prevailing opinion in Kansas.

An absolutely fantastic job by Coach Kruger to foul Azubuike on consecutive possessions in that five minute stretch to get OU back in the game. Just brilliant coaching by Kruger and horrendous foul shooting by Azubuike! IMHO, that was the key to the game last night. That, and other guys finally stepping up and playing good on offense instead of watching Young carry all the weight!

Self was between a rock and a hard place. Azubuike is a beast inside but can't hit foul shots, kind like Shaq.
