Why conferences won't expand soon (cable bundles)

The article suggests that the only profitable markets for the SEC to expand to would be Virginia and North Carolina (market size). Also states the only way OU to the PAC would happen would be if it came with Texas which would require UT dropping the LHN. Long read but interesting. I'm sure some of you in the OKC area work or have worked for Cox and I would love your thoughts on this.
