which rb is transferring?

Haven’t heard anything but if one transfers my guess would be Kennedy Brooks.
And if Brooks transfers, it’s still a pretty crowded RB corps: Anderson, Sermon, Adams, Sutton, Pledger and Thomas

OU is and has been rich w/ RBs for a number of years. Which is a good thing. My bet would be Adams. He played awhile, but then w/ the return of Anderson and the strong running of Sermon, his playing time way down.

Rodney Anderson’s decision to stay or go pro may be a factor in someone’s decision to transfer.
Agree that Adams could decide to leave especially if Brooks has a good spring.

Anderson is staying put. No NFL for him this year.

the NFL does not like senior RBs. and with his injury history he might? have should have left now before getting another whole season of wear and tear. although his stats will look fantastic he just lost a year of making money when the avg NFL RB only gets 3 yrs of earnings.

Rodney will only have 1 more year and this is Suttons last year. So just keep the cupboard full...this offense can use as much as we can get...If Pledger and Brooks can sit still for next year they will be next.

The NFL also doesn't like RBs that have multiple years of injury and only one year of proven stats. It's a very smart move for him to stay. He'll need another solid year, injury free to prove his worth and that he's durable. Whoever is advising him is doing the right thing.

I think Anderson stays and hope no one transfers. But it would not surprise me if it was Adams since he dropped from starter to third string due to his ball security issues.
Agree.
Would hate to see a back (Adams) who had a 99 yard run to his credit transfer.......but then, I saw sophomore Mike Thomas run 90 yards against Oregon in 1972 and he was gone the following year to UNLV....then on to the Redskins three years later.

Well Adams barely got to play the 2nd half of the season so I'm guessing he isn't too happy about it. Don't blame him if he wants to go somewhere else

I understand, Texas fans hate he is coming back to OU

Rodney has only played one full season at OU.
.
Many RBs including Heisman winners like Henry of Alabama stayed all 4 years.

Henry left as a junior, after 'Bama rode him like Secretariat to the Natty in '15. That point about RA stands though; with his injuries both occurring so early in the year, he essentially just played his freshman year in terms of playing time.

If anyone transfers I think Adams is the candidate - talented but fumble issues have kept him in the dog house ...

Thomas transferred because he simply wouldn't block.

Adams averaged 7.4 yards on 112 carries. How many times did he fumble? He is a very gifted back. Too much is made of fumbles when you have a back with these numbers. If Switzer sat his running backs for fumbing we would have missed watching a shit load of great Sooner backs. This is a Bob Stoops holdover thing. Yeah, I know the wishbone is more apt to fumbling but it’s still fumbling.
