Which game is this years PPV?

i would hope it would be Kansas but if its FAU or Army at least I will be paying money to see a decent game. Regardless as always I will purchase the PPV game
It won't be the Florida Atlantic and Army games. Not against two bowl teams that were 11-3 and 10-3 last year.
I don't see OU playing any games on pay-per-view this year.
Next year, Riley has "Texas Teched" OU into playing South Dakota and then Missouri State in 2020. There are your PPV games. Rejoice.

For what it's worth, the PPV game last year was broadcast on the SoonerTV app (almost any streaming device) for a similar fee. However, whoever was in charge of setting it up to require payment messed up and anyone could watch last year's game free.

If we get a PPV this year, I'm going to give that a whirl during pregame before I yank my CC out again.

Trying to get the exact answer on this... it looks like PPV might not be mandatory but is preferential.

If I'm reading correctly, the Big XII contract reserves 1 home game for all of its teams to manage/profit from. Oklahoma has signed its rights to that one game to Fox.
Therefore, Fox has always made that 1 game a PPV event, because it's usually the largest way to generate revenue which it uses to fund the Sooner Channel for most of the year.

If that's correct, then Fox may opt to openly broadcast this year's game if it's a big one that will generate more ad revenue than PPV fees.

I may be wrong.

2005 was the last year we didn't have one. If there isn't one this year, somebody's gonna have to come up here & pick me up off the floor, esp. with a 7 game home slate this year.
