Where are you watching the game?

Sitting at the bar? I might come and bother you. Don't be surprised if a 6'2" blond guy hits you on the back.
I am in a small booth by myself. Feel free to sit here. As an old man, my body prefers a booth, small, large or in between. West side middle against the bricks facing north.

Crimson golf shirt and black horned rim reading glasses,

Cool. I'm heading out now from Canyon Creek.
Just a grey t-shirt and jeans. I already packed my Sooners gear for my move to Malibu next week. Figure this is my one shot at meeting the Plaino after more than a decade of online conversation. My name's Terry, btw.

Uhh. Job is in Malibu. I'll be living in Sun Valley. Blue collar, 95% Hispanic, in the jet exhaust of the Burbank airport, diving my 2002 Maxima.

There is an African American couple across the table from me. Her nephew is Jordan Evans. Pretty hot in here but it should get better after the sun goes down.

OK, just so we're clear here, Jordon Evans aunt is there and she's hot, and it made you randy, but your battery ran out.

That's a drag!;)

So don't leave us hangin'... You two get a room or what ? (or maybe it's still too early out there in San Freako)

Jordan's aunt had her husband with her.
She had some cute dimples, but I'm not much into women with short hair.

Actually, fiance'. But I agree with you. She is cute. She is old Plano as is her sister. I didn't know that about Jordan's mama. And related to Plano's best athletes. Pat Thomas, who I think was John Clark's best athlete ever is their first cousin.

Jerry Pettibone OU's great recruiting co-ordinator, wanted Pat bad. And if he'd have come to OU, he'd have started on two NC teams. He played a long time in the NFL, and started on the Rams' Super Bowl XIV team. And was an NFL assistant coach for a while.

Jordan's mom and Pat are first cousins. Didn't know that until last night. But Jerry wouldn't offer another cousin, Jackie Williams, whom he considered too small to play in the Big 8. Jackie was a self made guy. They were both in Emory Bellard's first recruting class at A&M and their senior year, were undefeated heading into the last game of the season in Fayetteville. But they got thumped and ended up in a three way tie for the conference title. Ended up in the Liberty Bowl and got beat again by USC.

Jackie ended up an all conference player in the SWC, and was a seventh round draft pick of the Bills, I think.

With those kinds of roots, no wonder Jordan is such a special player. Scott, his dad, was an elite college tackle. His mother is closely related to the best athletes Plano ever produced.

Great meeting you too. I know we've lived like a stone's throw away from each other for more than a decade, so I felt guilty never running into you at an event.
Managed to check that box before I left town.
