Between 1973 and 1988 Nebraska and OU met 17 times...in 8 of those games, OU had to come from behind in the 4th quarter to win...
This was also the same year Scotty Hill offered the team prayer before the game concluding it with "Please, please, please Lord, don't let the best team win!" ...Nebraska came into the game undefeated..
