I really enjoy cooking a good nice comfort food style Christmas dinner. It just reminds me of my dad God rest his soul. He always rolled out a big smoked dinner of some sorts. Mostly ribs, but occasionally he'd smoke up a turkey or a hen.
This year our menu will include:
* Smoked Brisket
* Roasted Sweet Potato Salad w/ Cranberry-Chipolte Dressing
* Cornbread Dressing
* Baked Beans
* Some dessert of some sorts the wife conjurs up. Hopefully Apple Pie, but it'll probably be Pecan Pie (we have a huge pecan tree)

Drink of choice will be a few Bloody Mary's during tomorrow mornings cook, w/ Woodford Reserve Double Oak reserved for the evening paired w/ a nice Cohiba. Christmas Day, I'll pour a Blanton's on ice.

Good stuff. We are having steaks, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and green bean casserole. Pecan pie with whipped cream and and number of drinks flowing. Merry Christmas to all...
