Poor choice...he could not even control Taco Tech. Guess Cardinals like mediocrity. USC gets messed over.
HEAD coach? No way, right? I didn't think any NFL team would take a chance on him as a head coach. He had way too many issues with even college kids at Tech. He's going to have a way tougher time corralling adults with $MM paychecks.
I heard his name thrown around as a top OC choice for NFL teams, but he needs someone above him doing the leading.
There's now at least three reports of this possibility on the Internet. CBSSports.com and SB Nation to name two. I'm shocked.
totally agree kc. how can a guy who was 35-40 in 6 years with only 2 winning seasons of the six (in college!?) be qualified as an NFL head coach? please esplain Lucy!

Maybe Kingsbury will prove us wrong. I can't think of anyone who was not a successful college coach that was successful in the NFL. I'm sure if I used the Google machine, I could pull up a couple of names, but Kingsbury in the NFL seems like a bit of a stretch. I thought he should go in as an OC first, but if the Cards are willing to take this kind of a chance, then good luck to them.
