How did we get here? How did we get to the day before the Heisman Trophy presentation with Kyler Murray not just a favorite. BUT the Oklahoma quarterback is now THE favorite.
As of Friday morning, Kyler Murray is the prohibitive favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.
Read that again. Now do it again but out loud. If you're comfortable enough go ahead and say it out loud. Wild. Shocking. Kinda cool.
If you feel like this is becoming a yearly occurrence for Oklahoma football, don't be alarmed. That's because it is.
Pretty incredible number to think about.
As for his Heisman moment? That can be debated. Perhaps it goes with the theme of the season and how strange things went if it were the late 4th quarter touchdown run vs. Texas.
The 75-yard run vs. West Virginia was fantastic but I wouldn't necessarily call it a 'moment'.

They play like a veteran team because they (obviously) are a veteran team. Seven seniors will do that.
Christian James has been more than good. The duo of Aaron Calixte and Miles Reynolds probably a bit better than I thought they would. Seems like this group enjoys being around each other. Enjoys spending time at the gym/getting better. That might be only worth something like half of a win, but I do think it goes a long way in a team being NIT or NCAA caliber. Don't question this. It's science.

That's the question I'm closing with today. Fearmongering meteorologist have no place in this world. And that's exactly what we have an abudance of in Oklahoma. It's sad.
Even the Weather God, Lord Gary is sick of this shitz.
My biggest problem with the forecast is trying to act like they can predict what will happen 11 days from now. Beginning of the week you would have thought this was going to be the worst winter storm in recent memory. Oh wait. That did happen.
It's just sad.
* Does this look like the face of someone that would commit a crime?
* Speaking of making bad life decisions ... um, Pooka Williams ...
* It's almost like this school is still being held hostage by a 79-year old man. If I could find somewhere to bet it, I would guess Kansas State screws this hire up royally. Hate to see it.
* Congratulations to Cardinals fans for signing Paul Goldschmidt. That's a really nice acquisition for a 3rd place team. Bryce to the Cubs this weekend.
