Seibert is 7th in the country in punting average at 42.4 yards per punt, but we lead the country in yards allowed with just 7 and have only two touchbacks.
Only a handful of teams have punted less than we have for the year (51 times), but they all have way more yards allowed and touchbacks.
Seibert is so underrated for what he's doing and when you throw in how good he's been as a placekicker its really pretty impressive. Such a huge upgrade all around on special teams. He's not a Ray Guy finalist this year, but deserves it in my opinion. The only players with longer averages than him all play with terrible offenses so they'd consistently have longer fields to kick on. None are top 50 offenses while we're #7 on O.
