Since 2015, WVU Is 22-3 against everyone besides OU and 0-2 against OU. In fact in the 2 years we beat them, we were there only home loss that season. They are a heck of a good team anywhere.....but particularly at home.
Playing them at night with a birth in the big 12 title game on the line....the biggest game they’ve had in 10 years or more.....we came away with the win. With the playoff birth on people’s mind everyone is hung up on style points.....but that was a heck of a win Friday. Not one we should turn our nose up at.

It really was a great win. I’m encouraged that we’ve improved in some areas, like coverage by CB’s. More than anything, like Kyler said, we are showing a great will to win.

We are witnessing the best offense in college football of all time rise up and leaving scorch marks on the field all ending in the opponent’s end zone. Not too many teams lose their star RB and keep flying. The OL is at a high level and Kyler is the most efficient QB in CFB history. What happened in WV was a team that continues to have major goals to complete. 11-1 says a bunch.

I was very impressed with the defense as a whole, especially in the 4th quarter. Yes, the safeties played AWFUL and I hope they can correct that dumpster fire, but the DL did a great job stuffing the run on most plays and I loved the man coverage by our corners! I definitely saw some silver linings in our defense from that night, not to mention the HUGE turnovers they caused with the LBs.

I thought our corners played pretty well on Saturday. Bookie and the other safeties, not so much.

Exactly. It appears when OU rushes only 3 and drops 8 back in zone, they get torn apart, but when they go man and the safeties can double, it seems the defense does pretty well, especially when a LB blitzes.

This was how Buzzy got his sack on Ehlinger in the RRR ... we need to do this and blanket their receivers. They run a lot of rub routes too for Lil Jordan with drags, etc... we also can’t play overly aggressive considering they run screens a lot.
