Cyclones whack and I do mean "WHACK" the eers in Ames. After the dispatching of Baylor tonight, we got OUr hands full from here on out. LR needs to put the peddle to the medal in this game tonight.

LSewer has a deserved tumble to the outhouse with their pants around the ankles. Old Coach Orgeron back on booze. Bets on who gets fired first...him...Gundy... or Kissy Herman??

Anybody that expected LSU to be much better than .500 was bonkers. Can't lose what they lost and expect much. Even the juggernauts would struggle to fill those voids.

So a year after winning a national championship and blasting Oklahoma and Clemson in the process Orgeron gets fired ?
Don't think so.

LSU is a shell of the team they had last season so I would say no way they fire him. Bama again proves why they are so respected as they went out with intesity as if they were playing for a NC . This is just the way Saben teams operate.

I just dont see anyone hanging with them in the playoffs anymore than anyone did vs LSU last season. If they don’t win it this year that would absolutely shock me but I would be smiling if they got upset. Can’t stand Clemson, ND or TOSU but I would be rooting for them against Bama.

Certainly not us. I think it’s a good year to take a break from the playoffs. Next year though, Bama, OSU, Clemson all have new QBs. We might have a shot.
Realistically, all I want now is a strong finish in recruiting and the continuation of player development for OU. This 2020 team is one in transition, especially on defense.
Making the playoffs is the least of my concern now. From what I saw last night, Ohio State, Clemson and especially Alabama are still on a higher level than OU and everyone else, even Notre Dame and Florida.

Mac Jones could return. He'll likely get a late first round grade and he should go if that's the case but as of now I'd say he's more likely to return.

Yeah I’ll be interested to see if anybody can hang with Alabama. Not that I wouldn’t mind seeing them lose and Nick blow a gasket on the sideline.

And if Mark Sanchez taught us anything about leaving before you're ready? Money talks though.............Teams look at winners no matter what. Heck, look at Bake, Murray and Tua. None have the tangibles of the prototypical league vision, but they're winning and turning what were perennial cellar dwellers into contenders. Besides Tua, where's Mcelroy and McCarron today. The ebb and flow of the NFL brother. 😁

I know you meant pedal to the metal and I agree! Let’s get the big mo rolling by going into Morgantown and dominating the Neers and then rolling over the Clones for big12 champ number 6 straight

Coach O is average at best. LSU lost several quality players from last year but that does not justify the caliber of play we see from them. The coaches that put LSU in the Natty last year are gone and it's a glaring fact that Orgeron is not capable of righting the ship. It may not be at the end of this year but if the decline continues his seat will be hot next year.

Oregeron is 43-14 at LSU since 2016 with a national championship and with wasting OU 63-28 in what was OU's worst bowl defeat....OU trailed 49-14 at the half in a playoff game on prime time.
LSU had it's best team ever from my perspective last year.
No doubt LSU is down in the dumps this year with 43 freshmen (14 RS, 29 true freshman), but I don't believe LSU's future is on a slippery slope.
Hard to judge any team this year considering the cancellations and the schedule changes. LSU started its season on 9/26 after three cancellations.

Orgeron's situation is similar to Sumlin's tenure at aggy. Sumlin caught lightning in a bottle with johnny football as well as Orgeron with Burrow. Imo

Aren't the tiggers under the microscope right now? Similar to what got Briles dismissed at Baylor?

LSU last year was more about two unbelievable coordinators, and 14 guys headed to the NFL, not just Burrow. Best three receiver combination in a long time. First round running back. Outstanding defense.

Orgeron has been who he is for three decades. He's a crooked recruiter and a players' coach. With two great coordinators, he can win a title. Without that, he's is above average.

Ed was a part of Pete's debacle at USC, then kicked in the ass at ol miss.
