Until they play tOSU... Meyer beat Saban several times, and didn't get the opportunity with a 12-0 record... had that occurred, Meyer and Saban might both be sitting with 4 apiece, not 5-3...Outside of Alabama having an "off game", they are just about unbeatable. They have a team stacked with the best talent in the country, coupled that with possibly the best college coach in the history of college football.
Well I remember when Urban was at Florida and beat Saban's Alabama in the SEC title game. But when else has Urban beaten Saban?Until they play tOSU... You're right though about the year OSU went 12-0 and sanctions kept them out of the post season. That would have been a MUCH better game than we got with Alabama vs Notre Dame. Lol
You're right. For some reason I was thinking Alabama was beaten by Oregon. Thanks BC!!Meyer's Buckeyes beat them in the playoffs year before last.

I did not know that. Maybe Bob has put down his foot because he knows we want Mike gone, I guess we will see.As long as Bob Stoops prepares "soft" teams against the big boys it really doesn't matter that our defense is sub par. Last year Clemson practiced every day except for Christmas day leading up the game. Bob Stoops and Co. took off a week over Christmas. Small wonder why the Sooners ran out of gas in the second half.
They run the spread.Read that earlier and said it before...our offense frightens teams.
Our defense makes them giggle.
Michigan and Washington's style play into Bama's favor. Louisville, imo, is their only real challenger. Their defense is small up front but fast and aggressive and could get Bama's true frosh QB to turn the ball over.
