Offense is catching up, but I still believe that defense wins championships, and he's going to bring that "defense first" mentality to OU (similar to what Bob Stoops did back in 1998). LIke aranda did at Baylor.
BV has gotten it done at the highest level, and I don't think he'll be intimidated by the move to the SEC. Instead, I think he'll prosper there. Revel in the challenge. He'll fit in. I can't say the same about LR or Mike Leech for example.
The only thing I hope for is that he hires a creative mind for his OC. Someone with a system and scheme that will attract the top offensive talent in the nation. Because, as I mentioned, a "game management" type offense isn't good enough anymore. Just ask the Bulldogs. You've got to have the fire power to win the occasional shoot out.
