UPDATE: 4:51p - Guys our Baylor site, SicEmSports.com, spoke briefly with Rivals100 defensive end Brandon Bowen about his trip to Norman and got this quote:
"It was an amazing experience," Bowen said.
That's not anything concrete but it says something that he is saying that to a Baylor reporter and it fits into what both Joe and I are hearing - this visit went, really, really well.
ORIGINAL: Ok guys, talked to a few people and it sounds as though P.J. Blue could flip to Oklahoma from his Louisville commitment. It's not a certainty but it's something that could definitely happen.
The two that I know you all will want to hear about are Rivals100 defensive end Brandon Bowen and Rivals250 cornerback Jared Mayden.
With Bowen I continue to hear the trip went about as well as it could have and he gave the Sooners a very positive feeling about the trip. It will be interesting to see what he does next weekend - does he take another trip or sit down, work out a decision, etc.
With Mayden, I know Oklahoma felt very strongly about the visit but I've not heard anything, as of yet, to convince me that Alabama isn't still at the forefront for him.
Going to keep checking around but with so few players shouldn't be a ton to talk about, other than maybe Blue, until I speak with these guys.
