I was able to confirm with Rivals100 safety Lamar Jackson of Elk Grove (Calif.) Franklin that he will not be taking his official visit to Oklahoma this weekend.
"We couldn't find a flight to get me there on time," Jackson said before saying that no make-up date had been set yet.
As I said last night in chat I think Jackson is a bit of a numbers situation - Oklahoma wants to take him, but can they?
So while this situation wasn't OU canceling on him - it's just the reality of an 11 a.m. kickoff - it may work out well for them.
