Alright guys, my bad on WOKE, I knew I'd forgotten something and just couldn't place it. But what I forgot was some chatter heating up about Oklahoma and early linebacker offer Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek's Terrence Cooks.
For quite some time Cooks and Oklahoma had been a dead story as Cooks seemed ready to choose Texas and he just wasn't connecting with Oklahoma as he once had. But late last week rumors started swirling that he might be more willing to talk than he had been.
In fact, one source told me that he suddenly reached out to the Sooners last week and seems open to hear what the Oklahoma staff has to say.
Now, as we've said all along, there's a real doubt about Oklahoma being able to take another linebacker in this class so it may all come to nothing but it's at least worth watching as Cooks liked the Sooners early on before taking a few trips to Austin and missing out on a trip to Norman when COVID shut off all campus visits.
