10:04p - UPDATE: Tonight Waco, Texas three-star cornerback Eric Cuffee announced his top 11 and, somewhat surprisingly, the Sooners did not make that cut. I'm not sure I really anticipated Oklahoma making his top cut but it does surprise me they weren't on a list this big.
ORIGINAL: Spoke a bit with Miami (Okla.) Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO) 2015 commitment Austin Roberts about his work in the classroom and the fact that he is supposed to be done in just nine days.
The 6-foot-6, 265-pound standout tells me that all is still on the up with his classes and that he should be ready to roll at the completion of classes.
In fact, it sounds like the Sooners will be playing host to Roberts in just a matter of days upon his completion of the pair of online courses he is currently taking.
"I report on (July) 26," Roberts said.
Obviously this would be big news for Oklahoma as it would mean both of their late additions - Roberts and Quinn Mittermeier - would make it to Norman on time.
