Talked to Bob Stoops after practice tonight. He was asked about Kenyon Frison...
"He’s not back with us yet, so not at this point," said Stoops when asked if he was back with the program.
Stoops was also asked if this was something he had to work through with the administration to get back on the team.
"There’s quite a few things to do," answered Stoops. "I’m not going to detail them."
I'm gonna do a full write-up for tonight on what Stoops had to say at practice today. More of a big picture thing on Wednesday's with Bob. He talked about gameday operations and how things will work.
He was asked directly about what Michiah Quick has to do to make his way back up the depth chart.
"He just has to play more consistent," said Stoops. "He’ll have a chance to. He’s not out of the mix."
Stoops also said he's looking to see one guy return punts other than Sterling Shepard this Saturday.
"I want to see Joe (Mixon) at some point too," he said. "He’s so strong and he really catches it naturally so we’ll see."
Only other thing on the field that was mild interesting was Stoops elaborating a bit on what Jarvis Baxter has looked like this fall.
"He’s just done a good job," Stoops said. "He’s quick and he’s done a good job running routes and making some plays. He’s got some good quickness to him."
