Gary Patterson runs a simple 4-2-5 defense. They know how to run it. They aren't scrambling each play.it hasn't changed year after year like ours has. 2 gap one year 1 gap the next. No linebackers then 4 linebackers. Change the defense and offense right before each play. Offense takes timeout coming out of timeout. Defense has too many players on the field how often? Bill Snyder sets the game plan calmly calls the play no QB frantically waiting for the changed play. Sounds like we have simplified the offense with Riley. I don't know where this mindset changed but it is time to let the kids relax and go play.
