Simple as that.
Starting 3 freshmen on the OL finally caught up to us. Those guys had a great season (they certainly out-performed my expectations), but they ran into a really stout front 7 of Clemson.
Losing Walker really hurt our D, but I don't think he would have made that much difference. They were much more physical than we were. We were the most physical team in the Big XII, but we got man-handled tonight.
Still proud of our guys for a great season. We would all have giddily taken this at the start of the season, as disappointing as it was to watch it come to an end tonight.
Some tough penalties and missed tackles really hurt us, but the better team (tonight, at least) won.
Not sure if I can stomach watching Bama/MSU now.
